Fundraising for Ty Fforest

Ty Fforest, a non-profit organization serving Swansea and its surrounding areas, is dedicated to providing essential services and facilities to the community.

Food Banks: Individuals in need of food are directed to our food bank, where volunteers inquire about family size, preferences, and dislikes before assembling a personalised food bank box.

Food Share: Our committed team of volunteer drivers collects surplus food from various shops and supermarkets daily. These items are sorted at the Ty Fforest Hub and made available for anyone to choose. As a non-profit with limited income, we suggest a £2 donation for a food share bag. Food share is open to everyone, with no specific criteria, aiming to reduce landfill and distribute perfectly good food within the community.

Advocacy: Ty Fforest offers support in various areas, including employment, dyslexia, autism, and assistance for military veterans.

To sustain our crucial work in the community, Ty Fforest incurs costs such as building leases, utilities, and insurance. SwanseaMarket.co.uk generously donates 100% of its income to Ty Fforest to support fundraising efforts.
